That's why you need an editor. I am a versatile and meticulous editor with experience in a wide variety of publication types, including magazine articles, research reports, books and web copy.
I can handle every level of editing from proofreading to working with writers at a substantive level to ensure their work is as accurate and compelling as it can be. When rewriting or trimming is required, I pride myself on “seamless” editing that preserves the voice and integrity of the original work. And I love working with designers to create beautiful and effective text packages.

I am currently the English-language editor of this bilingual, quarterly magazine from the Canadian Education Association. The magazine includes contributions from some of the leading Canadian and international educational researchers and innovators, as well as the shared experience and insight of hands-on educators. In addition to planning and editing the magazine, I am responsible for researching emerging education issues, identifying and approaching potential contributors, and working with a cross-Canada editorial advisory board.
